All-State Camp List

We highly encourage your student to attend an All-State Choir Camp. These camps greatly improve their competitiveness and preparation toward the All-Region & All-State Choir audition process. They will have a blast and be months ahead of the competition.

We have taken the time to compile a list of the camps that we are aware of, so that you can make an informed decision as to which camp best suits your family's summer schedule and budget. The spreadsheet containing all of the pertinent information can be found via this link.

Please be aware that most camps have a registration deadline of the first or second week in June (most by 6/15).

Fall Concert

Our Fall Concert is less than a week away. Please make sure that your student has paid their $25 uniform fee and has procured their own pair of black dress shoes that will need to be worn with their uniform.

The concert starts promptly at 7:30 PM at Holy Angels Church. All male students will need to report at 6:30 PM, and all other students need to report to the church in full uniform by 6:45 PM. We will have a general membership meeting of the Choir Booster Club at 7 PM. This is an important meeting where we need to vote on a by-law change, elect an additional officer, and secure parent help for our fast-approaching Military Salute Program. Please make plans to attend and volunteer even if you have not become a member yet!

Following the concert we will have a VERY brief (5 minute) trip meeting for everyone going on the Spring Tour to New York.

Region Choir Audition Results

Way to go Central High Choir! We had 14 students named to the All-Region Choir (twice as many as last year), eight of those (almost triple that of last year) are advancing to the Pre-Area Auditions.

That being said: it's not just about the numbers and whether you placed or not - it's about each of the individuals who have put in the work and have made such huge improvements that will benefit not only themselves, but the choir as a whole. It is my hope that everyone has grown as musicians and vocalists for having participated in this. Congratulations to everyone. I am so proud to be your director! Sic 'em Cats!
